About us
The Frankfurt Family, Education, and Youth Counseling Centers offer support and assistance to children, adolescents, young adults, parents, and guardians in coping with and resolving individual and family crises and conflicts. These can include simple questions and uncertainties about parenting and development, family conflicts and stress, questions about separation and divorce, identity development, and much more.
The counseling is free of charge. The counseling centers are funded by municipal subsidies as part of institutional support.
You can make an appointment without needing an application, a referral, or a health insurance card. The only requirement is that you live in Frankfurt.
Our counseling is confidential, voluntary, and anonymous if desired. We are bound by professional secrecy.
We employ educators and psychologists with additional counseling and/or therapeutic qualifications.
We offer diversity- and discrimination-sensitive counseling, are open to diversity, and strive to understand the respective context of individuals and families. To this end, we offer counseling in many languages.
Children, adolescents, young adults, parents, and guardians can come to counseling alone or together.
Many counseling centers also offer groups that you or your child can participate in, e.g., for children or parents affected by separation, for parents/guardians on various topics, for adolescents, and much more.
The counseling centers are easily accessible by public transportation.
